We work with plants and clays chosen with intention.
French Red Clay
Rich in naturally occurring minerals, French red clay gently refreshes the skin, helping to reveal a brighter, softer complexion.
Activated Charcoal
Known for its highly absorbent nature, activated charcoal helps lift away impurities, leaving skin feeling clear and refreshed.
Ground Plantain
Hand-ground plantain leaf provides gentle physical exfoliation while helping to soothe and support the skin barrier.
Why We Made It
For years, I struggled to find an exfoliator that felt right.
My skin was often rough and uneven, but everything I tried seemed to sit at one extreme or the other.
Harsh scrubs left it sore and irritated. Gentler ones rarely felt like they made a difference.
I wanted something that encouraged my skin to let go, rather than forcing it to. Something that felt tactile, calming and kind. Something that refreshed the surface while respecting the skin beneath.
So I made this balm.
I don't believe clearer skin comes from doing more. I think it comes from supporting what your skin is already trying to do.
We're simply here to help it begin again.
The story didn't end when we made Asa. It continued in the homes of the people who use it.

How to Use
Warm the balm between your fingers. Inhale. Let it slow you.
Press into dry skin using gentle, circular motions. Let the clays and ground plantain leaf do their work. Take your time. It melts.
Remove with a soft, warm, damp cloth.
To keep your balm at its best, store it in a cool, dry place and avoid getting water inside. Always use clean, dry fingers or a spatula.
For external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Avoid contact with eyes.
