The Plants
We work with plants that grow quietly around us.
Nettle
An often-overlooked plant, nettle is rich in naturally occurring minerals and antioxidants.
Calendula
Used in skin preparations for centuries, calendula is prized for its gentle nature and affinity with sensitive skin.
Lady’s Mantle
Containing naturally occurring tannins, lady's mantle has traditionally been used in facial care for its balancing qualities.
Why We Made It
For years, I didn't really care for my skin. I let it get on with life. I grew up with acne, visible pores and combination skin.
Doctors prescribed treatments and I trusted them, but my skin struggled under them. Cleansers left it feeling dry and tight. Wipes stripped it raw. Everything seemed focused on fixing, correcting or controlling.
Eventually, I stopped trying. But something was missing.
Not just clearer skin, a connection. A way to care without damage. A way back to myself. So I made this balm.
Something that wouldn't take from my skin, but give to it. Something that felt gentle to use. Something that soothed and supported rather than battled and corrected.
It's water-free, made from plant infusions, oils and waxes chosen carefully and used for a reason.
I don't believe skin needs fixing. I think it already knows what it's doing.
We're simply here to support it. Not fixing. Returning.
The story didn't end when we made Asa. It continued in the homes of the people who use it.

How to Use
Warm the balm between your fingers. Inhale. Let it slow you.
Press into dry skin using gentle, circular motions. Take your time. It melts.
Remove with a soft, warm, damp cloth.
To keep your balm at its best, store it in a cool, dry place and avoid getting water inside. Always use clean, dry fingers or a spatula.
For external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
