A water-free day balm made with plantain, nettle and chickweed.
Lightweight yet nourishing, it softens and comforts the skin while supporting the skin barrier and helping to reduce inflammation.
Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive, dry, oily and acne-prone skin.
The story didn't end when we made Asa. It continued in the homes of the people who use it.

The Plants
We work with plants that grow quietly around us.
Plantain
Long valued, plantain is known for its soothing nature and ability to support the skin barrier.
Nettle
An often-overlooked plant, nettle is rich in naturally occurring minerals and antioxidants.
Chickweed
Traditionally used to calm and comfort the skin, chickweed is valued for its gentle nature and affinity with irritation-prone skin.
Why We Made It
For years, my skin often felt dry and uncomfortable. After washing my face, especially after a shower, it would feel tight, as though all the moisture had been pulled away.
I tried different creams and moisturisers over the years. Some helped for a while, some didn't. But I always found myself searching for something simpler.
As I've grown older, I've realised that skin does a remarkable job.
It protects us from the world every day. It carries our expressions, our weather, our lives.
The least I can do is care for it in return. So I made this balm.
Something light enough for each day, yet nourishing enough to leave skin feeling comfortable, calm and protected.
A way to support the skin barrier without heaviness. A way to soften and care for the skin I live in every day.
Not correcting. Not fighting. Simply caring.

How to Use
Warm a small amount between your fingers. Inhale.
Press gently into face and neck each morning.
Let it melt into the skin, leaving a soft, protective veil.
Wear under SPF, under makeup, or on its own.
To keep your balm at its best, store it in a cool, dry place and avoid getting water inside. Always use clean, dry fingers or a spatula.
For external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
